## README

Listener can be used to listen to the surroundings and alert the user of the computer if speech / loud noises are detected.

This application contains implementations of two voice-activity-detection algorithms and provides notifications using Growl on computers using Mac OS X.

On machines without Growl installed, Listener writes human-readable output to /var/tmp/audio.log which can be used by tools like Geektool.
